Disney Buys Marvel Zooniverse Maya, Photoshop, ZBrush September 2009
I created this image as part of a comic proposal entitled "Marvel Zooniverse" and also as sample art for my portfolio. The characters are Spider-Ham, Hulk Bunny, Captain Americat, and Iron Mouse. Since Disney just announced they wil be purchasing Marvel I thought this would be good to post. The concept of the comic was to parody the origins and stories of the Marvel Universe using the funny super animals that inhabit Spider-Ham's world. I created 3 covers and wrote and illustrated a 10 page sequential story telling Iron Mouse's origin. The entire story is posted in my gallery, please feel free to read it and let me know what you think. To create the art I used Maya, ZBrush and Photoshop. This image is a homage and parody of to the cover to "Secert Wars #1". Critiques are more than welcome. Thanks!
